Abstract
หนังสือเล่มนี้บรรณาธิการโดย Jessamy Perriam และ Simon Carter จาก The Open University แห่งสหราชอาณาจักร (UK) โครงสร้างของหนังสือเล่มนี้ประกอบด้วย คำนำ สารบัญ ตามด้วยเนื้อหาที่สำคัญ จำนวน 4 ตอน ได้แก่ ตอนที่ 1 ดิจิทัลกับวิถีชีวิตประจำวัน (Everyday life and the digital) ตอนที่ 2 (Society, technology, citizens and cities) ตอนที่ 3 มนุษย์กับเครื่องจักร (Humans and machines) และตอนที่ 4 การใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลเชิงบวกและเชิงลบ (Uses and abuses of the digital) จากนั้นจึงปิดท้ายด้วย อภิธานศัพท์ กิตติกรรมประกาศ และดัชนีท้ายเล่ม ทั้งนี้เนื้อหาในแต่ละตอนประกอบด้วยบทย่อย ๆ จำนวน 13 บท พร้อมทั้งแสดงรายการบรรณานุกรมไว้ตอนท้ายของทุกบท
