CURRENT OF HEALTH SYSTEM REFORMATION ON CONCEPTS OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

Abstract
This article aims to reflect the image of current of health system reformation in Thai social context that has changed in environment of culture, economy and technology all the time. This changing affects public management of government organization that influences operation or monitoring health system. These organizations have to go beyond traditional operation and adapt to the new image of public management for improving more efficiency and quality responding the needs of citizen. If the health system organizations have good efficiency in operation and management, Thai citizen have good quality in their life as well. The content in this article was separated in three parts. The first part is about the breaking through traditional bureaucracy which became the independent entity. The second part is about the new public management (NPM) as initial concept of the independent entity establishment and the final part is the presentation about concepts of the new public service (NPS). It is one of the choices that can bring us to health system reformation, responds to the needs of citizen for getting more truly health benefit and good quality in their lives.
