Abstract
อวสานสมบูรณาญาสิทธิราชย์ในสยาม เป็นหนังสือวิชาการที่ให้ข้อมูลและบทวิเคราะห์ทั้งรอบด้านและลึกซึ้งที่ดีที่สุดเกี่ยวกับรัชสมัยสุดท้ายของสมบูรณาญาสิทธิราชย์ในสยาม แม้งานนี้จะเขียนและพิมพ์มาแล้วถึง 4 ทศวรรษ แต่ก็ยังไม่มีงานศึกษาอื่นใดที่อธิบายภาพอดีตในหกปีกว่านี้ได้อย่างเท่าเทียม
