UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS OF ORACLE BONE SCRIPT (JIA GU WEN)

Abstract
This article aims to introduce the distinctive characteristics of the Jiaguwen. There are five unique characteristics of the Jiaguwen, which are one alphabet with multiple forms, many alphabets looking almost identical, many alphabets looking identical, multiple alphabets forming into a single alphabet, an alphabet being read from inverted or flipped angle. This article will explain the five distinctive characteristics of Jiaguwen with detailed examples and the analysis of causes and relationships of each alphabet.
