Teachers’ Beliefs toward Learner-Centered Learning to Promote Active Learning: A Reflective Teaching Exploring Teachers’ Beliefs toward Active Learning
Main Article Content
Abstract
The emergence of leaner-centered learning redefines the role of the learners. Rather than being a passive learner, they are assigned much more autonomy in language learning. That is, they are actively engaged in their own learning. Language teaching is also influenced by teachers’ beliefs. Teachers, thus, should reflect upon their teaching on a regular basis in order to maintain their professional development.
