The Creation of Painting to Reflect the Disadvantages of Using Social Media that Affects Human Behavior

Abstract

This article aims to study the disadvantages of using social media that affects human behavior. The painter creates the painting that reflects this important problem at the present time. Results of the problems of social media addiction can be concluded into 3 issues: separation from society, broken family, and deteriorating health. The content analysis of the method and concept of creation is the image of human behavior. The human behavior is represented by a symbolic image “box” which means to block status or to separate from other people. The painter dims the atmosphere to emphasize the oversized face of the girl and the light of the communication equipment. The expression of painting aims to tell people to realize the appropriate use of social media.
