Lanna dynamics: Changing of Language in Payap County (Monthon Payap) under the influence of Siam from missionary archives, 1893-1926

Abstract
This article studies the development of Lanna society about language changes in Payap County (Monthon Payap) during 1893-1926 AD. The purpose of the article is to reflect the dynamics of Lanna society that are directly affected in the process of social and cultural integration and integration. This is the result of Siam's influence on Lanna society in terms of significant language changes. There are 3 main study topics: 1. Explain the development background of the Lanna language, 2. The spread of influence on the Siamese language through the missionary work and 3. The change in word form and concept of the Lanna People. The historical methodology of study emphasizes access to missionary archives and documents as primary evidence. The results of the study showed that expanding Siam's influence had created a language change during the administrative reform. The Siamese language has played an increasingly important role in Lanna society. For example, the vocabulary and concepts of Siam were introduced into Lanna society through missionary work and publications.
