Abstract
This study aims to 1) study of guidelines for prevention and resolution of termination of student status of undergraduate student in the higher education institution under the Office of the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Education and 2) study of guidelines for monitoring of academic performance of undergraduate student at risk of termination of student status in the higher education institution under the Office of the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Education. The population used in research is 159 the higher education institutions under the Office of the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Education in which the population responded to 99 questionnaires which equivalent to 62.26 percent. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire and an interview form. The statistics used for data analysis are frequency and percentage.
The research results are as follows
- A guidelines for prevention and resolution of termination of student status of undergraduate student in the higher education institution under the Office of the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Education are having advisor system to advise, give counsel, and supervise students. In order that, in the future, the higher education institution should develop the advisor system to be tangible and effective.
- A study of guidelines for monitoring of academic performance of undergraduate student at risk of termination of student status in the Higher Education Institution under the Office of the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Education are having advisor system and use the information system to monitor and supervise students. Then in the future, the higher education institution ought to develop the information system in order to help following up academic performance and advising students effectively.
