Decode the Marvel of Amulet and Devas Beyond Buddhist Way

Abstract

            This article aims to present the concepts and principles of practice according to the Buddhist principle concerning belief in miracles and angels. In Buddhism, there are three types of miracles: Miracles of Psychic Power, Miracles of Mind-reading and Miracles of Teaching. The first two types are not the main ones that would lead us to Buddhism because no matter how knowledgeable you are, you still can't get of the greed in your heart, and subsequently never will be free from suffering. As for the third miracle, the greatest one that would enable humans to be free of suffering, could only happen by one's endeavor. Hence, there is no use in praying to angels and waiting for a miracle to happen. Angels will always be presented and guided those who are already determined to do good deeds. By remembering and passing merit are the ways we can repay their kindness to us. This is the way to keep a good relationship between the deities and the humans.
