A Study of the Needs for Using Management Information system (NSRU MIS) Individual Level at Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University

Abstract

         The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the need for information systems to support university management (NSRU MIS) at the individual level at Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University of personnel of Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University and 2) to be a guideline for improving information system to support university management (NSRU MIS) at individual level at Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University. This research is a quantitative research that focuses on exploring the needs of the target group which is Personnel University by using a specific sampling method. The instrument in this research was a questionnaire on the study of the Needs for Using Management Information system (NSRU MIS) Individual Level at Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University. The statistics in this research were percentage, mean and standard deviation.

The results of the research were as follows: 1) Most of the samples were female employees, aged 31-40 years, single status, bachelor's degree, a supporting personnel, an employee in a higher education institution, Duration of work 12 years or more, under the Office of the President, and monthly income 21,001-40,000 baht. 2) Percentage of information systems use the Human Resources and Finance Management System of 30 people, representing 30.0% and the percentage of frequency of use. The frequency is more than 10 times/week, 70 people accounted for 70.00%. 3) The sample group's overall opinion level was at a moderate level ( = 3.22). When considering each item, it was found that the need for the use of information systems to support university management (NSRU MIS) at the individual level was the highest level of feedback was the convenience and ease of use of the system. At the level of very agree ( = 3.75), followed by system security. At the level of very agree ( = 3.70) in terms of information that meets the needs of users. It was at a moderately agreeable level ( = 3.42) and the accuracy of the information in the system. At the level of least agreeable ( = 2.02) respectively, and 4) Get guidelines for improving the information system to support university management (NSRU MIS) at the individual level at Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University, where administrators must come in to set up a system of support personnel to be useful for further career and professional advancement.
