THE EFFECTS OF RESILENT QUOTIENT PROGRAM ON EDUCATIONAL AND OCCUPATIONAL GOAL SETTING FOR MATTHAYOMSUKSA FIVE STUDENTS AT SIRINDHORN SCHOOL SURIN PROVINCE
Abstract
The purposes of this research were: 1) to study The Effects of Resilent Quotient Program on Educational and Occupational Goal Setting for Matthayomsuksa Five at Sirindhorn School Surin Province 2) to compare score results of the Educational and Occupational Goal Setting of students who participated in the Effects of, The Effects of Resilent Quotient Program on Educational and Occupational Goal Setting with control group students. This research was the quasi experimental research. The populations were 858 students of Mathayomsuksa Five in the Second semester, academic year 2016, Sirinhorn School in Surin. The sample used in this study was selected from the students in Matthayomsuksa Five, Sirindhorn School. Surin Province, academic year 2016, 2 rooms, using a set of educational goals and career 60 people. The 60 students were divided by control group (30 students) and experimental group (30 students). The students of experimental group were tested the program for 12 sessions, 50 minutes per each session. The instruments for study this research were used: 1) the Resilent Quotient on Program Educational and Occupational Goal Setting 2) the Public Mind Test 3) the Student’s Self-Report in each session and 4) the Student’s Opinion Questionnaire towards the Program and the Researcher. Mean, standard deviation, summary content, (Non Parametric Statistics) The Wilcoxon Matches Pairs Signed Rank Test and The Mann -Whitney U Test were utilized for analyzing data. The research results indicated that: 1) the posttest scores from the Educational and Occupational Goal Setting Test of the experimental group were higher than theirs pretest scores at .05 level of significance. 2) the posttest scores from the Educational and Occupational Goal Setting Test of the experimental group were higher than posttest scores of the control group at .05 level of significance.
