บทคัดย่อ

This study aimed to (1) analyze the factors influencing the acceptance of technology and innovation among entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Upper Northern Thailand and (2) propose strategies to enhance the development and promotion of appropriate technologies and innovations. The study was grounded in Rogers’ Innovation-Decision Process Theory, which explains technology adoption through sequential stages of awareness, interest, evaluation, trial, and adoption. A total of 400 SME entrepreneurs (n = 400) were selected using quota sampling based on business type and size. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicated that most respondents were aged 31–40 years, held a bachelor’s degree, and had 11–15 years of work experience. The overall level of technology and innovation acceptance was high. Regression analysis revealed that technological, organizational, and environmental factors significantly influenced technology adoption (R = 0.67, R² = 0.45, F = 45.61, p < .05), explaining 45% of the variance in adoption behavior. Technological readiness and partner pressure were among the strongest predictors. The findings suggest that targeted policy support, capacity-building programs, and enhanced access to technological resources are essential to accelerate digital transformation and promote sustainable SME growth in Upper Northern Thailand
