Due to the complexity of work and long work cycle in the construction industry, construction workers' safety is always under serious threat. This paper aims to reveal the mechanism of the influence of organizational socialization (OS) on construction workers' prosocial safety citizenship behavior (SSCB) with affective commitment (AC) as the mediating variable. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was constructed to conduct an empirical study based on 368 valid questionnaires recovered from formal research. Using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 26.0, the influence model and research hypotheses of construction workers' SSCB were validated. The study shows that AC plays a fully mediating role in the positive effect of OS on construction workers' SSCB, and: Organizational safety culture socialization (OSCS) > Interpersonal relationships socialization (IRS) > Job competence socialization (JCS) > Organizational politics socialization (OPS).
