The purpose of this research was to study the associating factors of quality of life in Thai-working population with primary headache and quality of life. The purposive sample comprised 166 patients who visited the outpatient department from August 2022 to April 2023. All information was gathered from standard questionnaire Thai version of the medical outcomes study short-form survey version 2.0 (SF-36V2) revise, 2005. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square test, unpaired t-test, one-way analysis of variances (One-Way ANOVA) and multiple linear regression analysis.
The study finding revealed that the total quality of life score had low to moderate correlations with the associating factors: female (Beta=-0.20 (95%CI -22.38–-2.36), p=0.02); middle adulthood or 41-65 year-olds (Beta=0.18 (95%CI 1.27–-18.75), p=0.03); highest academic qualification at primary to secondary school (Beta=0.20 (95%CI 2.77–12.42), p=0.002); moderate to severe headache symptom (Beta=-0.84 (95%CI -34.13–25.60), p=<0.001) and tension-typed headache (Beta=0.35 (95%CI 8.06-20.09), p=<0.001)
In order to promote quality of life for working population with primary headache symptoms, we should be monitoring and controlling all modifying factors associated with.
