The Knowledge Linkage in Supply Chain of Cut-flower Sacred Lotus Farming in Nakhon Pathom

The research found that Nakhon Pathom province had areas for cut-flower sacred lotus farming in Sam Phran, Nakhon Chai Si, Phutthamonthon, and Bang Len district, which were areas supporting lotus farming. There were sufficient resources to support lotus farming and water sources for agriculture throughout the three districts. The direct experience was used to link the knowledge of cut-flower sacred lotus farming in Nakhon Pathom province. Moreover, there were ways to link knowledge among ancestors continually, to share knowledge among the groups, and to connect knowledge from government agencies involved in cut-flower sacred lotus farming. From the results of the study, the researcher suggested the further research on the entire supply chain of sacred Lotus in order to be able to utilize the research results efficiently. Relevant government institutions should strengthen farmers’ groups and other groups related to cut-flower sacred lotus farming in Nakhon Pathom Province.
