06 A Guideline of Efficiency Communication to enhance Cabin Safety awareness of Low Cost Airline’s passengers

Abstract

The research of a guideline of efficiency communication to enhance cabin safety
awareness of low cost airline’s passengers was quantitative research. The aims of this research
were 1). To analyze the difference of personal attitude affecting the safety awareness of low
cost airline’s passenger 2). To analyze the factors influence safety awareness of low cost airline’s
passenger and 3). To propose the guideline of efficiency communication to enhance cabin
safety awareness of low cost airline’s passengers by questionnaires from unknown number of
passengers from W.G. Cochran (1953) for 400 people by convenient sampling as frequency,
percentage, mean and standard deviation (SD). Data analysis was the comparison between
One-Way ANOVA and Chi-square Test to test the relationship during variables
Research result found that personal factors were gender, experience of airline travel
and familiar with operation, suggestion and prohibition on low cost airline cabin affected the
safety awareness of low cost airline’s passenger different statistically significant level 0.05.
Analysis result of factors influence safety awareness of low cost airline’s passenger found
that age, occupation, travel objective, interesting in demonstrated suggestion, regulation,
prohibition of airhostess, reading safety guide of passenger at straight pocket in front of the
seat and number of travel flight in a year affected the safety awareness on flights different
statistically significant level at 0.05
