01 Using information Technology and innovation in Logistics Supply Chain and Value Chain

Abstract

The aim of this research was to propose the knowledge about selecting information
technology optimized with supply chain for implement to gain in business operation then
presenting the content in this article such as information technology, logistic management,
supply chain and value chain. The word of logistic technology and supply chain, selecting
technology appropriately in value chain, applying innovation to increase effective in supply
chain, integrating solution of editable problem, being able to work in cross function and cooperation
in supply chain, risk and how to deal with supply chain risk
However, selecting information technology appropriately in supply chain activity, you
had to concern the feature of work in each main activity after that selecting technology
to support suitable work and you should initial idea about new innovation to implement
more effective in supply chain such as e-Supply chain system to cover majority strategy of
organization and affecting the flow of system (Yanchun & MengChu, 2001) This system could be
integrated data and made the function to share it further it was also contributed supply chain
collaboration beside leading information technology comply with supply chain management,
it had to concern the risk and how to deal with risk as well. Knowledge in this content could
be taken advantage to business organization, taking knowledge to apply to develop supply
chain management effectiveness and rising competency level to support core activity supply
chain operation of organization higher in next step.
