Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) to examine the level of the municipal officials’
perceptions about transformational leadership and transactional leadership of executives in
BangLen sub-district, BangLen district, NakhonPathom (2) to examine the level of the municipal
officials’ perceptions about the policy of 5S. activities in BangLen sub-district, BangLen
district, NakhonPathom (3) to examine the level of the results of 5S. activities used by the
municipal officials in BangLen sub-district, BangLen district, Nakhon Pathom and (4) to examine
transformational leadership, transactional leadership and the policy of 5S. activities effecting
to the results of the municipal officials’ 5S. activities. 83 participants including (1) civil
officers and (2) government employees were collected data by questionnaires. The data were
analyzed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics for testing hypotheses. SPSS program
was used for finding causal relationships. The findings showed that transformational leadership,
transactional leadership, the policy of 5S. activities and the results of 5S. activities were high.
the results of 5S. activities were (Y) = 3.15 + 0.31, transformational leadership (X1) was + 0.17,
transactional leadership (X2) was – 0.19 and 5S. policy (X3)
