Abstract
The objectives of this research were to 1) study the level of factors affecting the quality of English language teaching in primary schools under the Office of Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area 2 2) study the level of English teaching quality in primary schools under the Office of Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area 2, and 3) investigate the factors affecting the quality of English teaching in those schools. The sample group was 278 teachers in schools under the Office of Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area 2 during the academic year 2024. The research instrument was a questionnaire on factors affecting the quality of English teaching in primary schools under the Office of Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area. Data were collected through an online questionnaire (Google Form). The data were analyzed using basic statistics, including mean and standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis was employed to test the hypotheses.
The findings revealed that 1) the overall level of English teaching quality in primary schools under the Office of Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area 2 was at a high level, and 2) the factors affecting the quality of English teaching in these schools indicated that student-related factors and administrative management factors jointly predicted the quality of English teaching with statistical significance at the .01 level.
