Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the current situation of informatization leadership of the public university administrators of Guangxi province in China. 2) to provide the guidelines for improving the informatization leadership of the public university administrators of Guangxi province in China. 3) to evaluate the adaptability and feasibility of the guidelines for improving the informatization leadership of the public university administrators of Guangxi province in China. The sample were 375 administrator from 26 public universities in Guangxi, and the specific number of people to be sampled in each university was determined according to the proportion of the number of university administrators. The interviewees in this research were 11 experienced administrators in public universities in Guangxi. The experts for evaluating the adaptability and feasibility of guidelines were 7 experienced administrators in public universities in Guangxi. Research instruments include: 1) questionnaire, 2) structured interview, and 3) evaluation form. The statistic to analyze the data were percentage, average value, standard deviation and content analysis.
