COMPARISON OF ADMINISTRATION AND ASSESSMENT OF BACHELOR OF ARTS CURRICULUM IN ENGLISH (REVISED 2017) OF RAMKHAMHAENG UNIVERSITY

Abstract
This research aims at studying the Bachelor of Arts Curriculum in English (Revised 2017) of Ramkhamhaeng University. The objectives are to compare the satisfaction of graduates and faculties on the educational management and assessment as well as on the program administration in the general English and linguistic courses. The CIPP evaluation model is adopted, and the participants are 155 graduates and 7 faculty members. The instrument includes two sets of questionnaires: graduates’ satisfaction in the curriculum and faculties’ satisfaction in the program administration. The questionnaires yield 0.86 reliability rate, and this research uses means and standard deviation as the statistical measurement. The results show that graduates and faculty are satisfied with the program management, and give overall satisfaction at the high level. Moreover, graduates and faculties are also highly satisfied with the program administration in the general English and linguistic groups with the highest rate on the consistency between subject contents and curriculum objectives. The results also show that graduates and faculties find the subject contents in both groups are appropriate as a whole, but not modernized.
