ADMINISTRATIVE STRATEGIES FOR EXCELLENCE FOR NATIONAL QUALITY AWARD OF WORLD CLASS STANDARD SECONDARY SCHOOL UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF BASIC EDUCATION COMMISSION OFFICE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to analyze the current state and desirable characteristics of administrative strategies of world class standard secondary school under the jurisdiction of Basic Education Commission Office and 2) to create strategies for excellence for national quality award of world class standard secondary school under the jurisdiction of Basic Education Commission Office. This research was mixed method research. The population target was 381 administrators, administrator assistants and head of department by purposive random sampling. 1) study current and desirable conditions 2)SWOT analysis, 3) draft strategy , 4) evaluate strategy. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire with 5 rating scales and analyzed data by statistic that create and evaluate strategy with experts. The research results revealed that: 1) current condition administrative strategies for excellence for national quality award of world class standard secondary school under the jurisdiction of Basic Education Commission Office were at much level. Personnel focusing aspect was at the highest level , followed by learners focusing aspect.  By desirable condition found that the average was at much level found that learner and stakeholder focus aspect was at much level, followed by strategy planning aspect 2) administrative strategies for excellence for national quality award of world class standard secondary school under the jurisdiction of Basic Education Commission Office was 3 main strategies and 17 sub strategies. 2 as followed development strategy of participation administration ability for excellence was 4 sub strategies, encouragement strategy of management administration potential according to national quality award was 6 sub strategies and development strategies to working and design process was 7 sub strategies.
