THE APPLICATION OF BUDDHIST PHILOSOPHY IN THE SUMMER NOVICE ORDINATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN THUNGYAI DISTRICT, NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The objectives of this dissertation are as follows: 1) to study the Summer Novice Ordination Project Management Thungyai District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province 2) to study the Summer Novice Ordination Project Management in Buddhist Metaphysics, Buddhist Epistemology and Buddhist Ethics 3) to study the application of Buddhist philosophy in the way of solving problems in the Summer Novice Ordination Project Management Thungyai District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and 4) to create a new body of knowledge and patterns of the Summer Novice Ordination Project Management for sustainable development. This research is a qualitative research consisting of two methods, namely, document study and field study. The presentation was by the analytical description through the analytic, appreciative and applicative approach so as to lead to the creativity of new body of knowledge in philosophy.

          The results of research were found as follows:

1. The Summer Novice Ordination Project Management Thungyai District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province found that it is a systematic operation. The project has been implemented in accordance with the established procedures. There are 4 temples that are arranged such as Wat Phukao Din, Wat Pradittharam, Wat Kuan Ubosot and Wat Kuan Khang. All temples are achieved according to the intended purpose.


2. The Buddhist philosophy of the Summer Novice Ordination Project Management both are Buddhist Metaphysics, Buddhist Epistemology and Buddhist Ethics found that these three principles are important to be applied in the management of summer novice ordination project for sustainable development.


3. The Application in the way of solving problems in the Summer Novice Ordination Project Management Thungyai District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province found that in 6 aspects : 1) The cooperation of home , wat and school 2) Training course 3) Personnel (course teacher, mentor) 4) Project management 5) Evaluation and 6) Supporter .


4. The new body of knowledge and patterns of the Summer Novice Ordination Project Management for sustainable development found that the new body of knowledge called the Model “PP-BP-AS”, when the Summer Novice Ordination Project Management Thungyai District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province has been applied in the way of solving the problems in the Summer Novice Ordination Project Management Thungyai District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in 6 aspects, causing results, were 1) have good knowledge 2) has been good behavior and 3) is a mental patient, which leads to the project management with sustainable development.
