THE MODEL OF MANAGEMENT ACCORDING TO THE EDUCATION CRITERIA FOR PERFORMANCE EXCELLENCE IN SMALL SIZE SCHOOLS UNDERTHE NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL OFFICE SERVICE AREA 1

Abstract
The objectives of the research were 1) To study the current conditions and management developing requirements along to the education criteria for performance excellence in small size schools 2) To analyze and synthesize the model of management according to the education criteria for performance excellence in small size schools and 3) To examine the model of management according to the education criteria for performance excellence in small size schools. This research used the mixed research methodology and was devided to 3 phases.The 1st phase, was to current conditions and requirements of management according to the education criteria for performance excellence in small size schools. The 2nd phase was to analyze and synthesize the model of management according to the education criteria for performance excellence in small size schools and the 3rd phase was to examination the model of management according to the education criteria for performance excellence in small size schools. The research instruments were documentary Analysis, questionnaire, non – structured Interviews, connoisseurship and focus group discussion. The statistics utilized in the data analysis were documentary Analysis, frequency, mean, percentage and standard deviation.
Research findings revealed that:
- The current conditions and requirements of management according to the education criteria for performance excellence in small size schools under the nakhon si thammarat primary educational office service area 1 were showed in high level the mean score was 4.13 and the requirements of management according to the education criteria for performance excellence in small size schools under the nakhon si thammarat primary educational office service area 1 were showed in most level the mean score was 4.57.
- The model of management according to the education criteria for performance excellence insmall size schools under the nakhon si thammarat primary educational office service area 1 consisted of seven aspects -- model title, principles and reason ,the objectives, management principles and core value and concepts, school profile, actuation approach to excellence. The criterias for performance excellence insmall size school consisted of seven aspects were 1) leadership 2) strategic planning 3) student and stakeholder focus 4) measurement analysis and knowledge management 5) teacher and workforce focus 6) process focus and results and 7) the key to success.
3. The result from the examination the model of management according to the education criteria for performance excellence in small size schools under the nakhon si thammarat primary educational office service area 1 found that this model was accuracy, propriety, feasibility and utility to the develop in every part to quality of education.
