Factors for the Success of the Establishment of a Sustainable Organic Farming Community Enterprise at Ban Thung Ko
Abstract
The purpose of this research paper was to study the context, general conditions and factors for success of the establishment of a sustainable organic farming community enterprise at Ban Thung Ko, Nong Methi Sub-district, Tha Tum District, Surin Province. which is a qualitative research The main informant groups are the officials involved. Chairman of the Board and Members of the Enterprise Group Community leaders and village philosophers and academics using a variety of methods, including the study of documents participant observation in-depth interview and group chat Descriptive data analysis and content analysis bring the data to a conclusion and make recommendations.
The results of the research revealed that the general context of Ban Thung Ko community, Village No. 2, Nong Methee Sub-district, Tha Tum District, Surin Province It is a village located in the north of Surin province. Which is about 45 kilometers away from the city of Surin, there are a total of 205 households in the community, with a total population of 907, divided into 444 males and 463 females. A total of 84 people with disabilities can help themselves, 69 of them, some of them 6 and none. Loei 9 people is another village that has a community plan according to the regulations of the Ministry of Interior. which consists of the structure of village committees from all sectors, both formal and informal, amounting to 20 people, consisting of the administrative department government and maintain order Village Development Planning Department Department of Economic Promotion, Department of Social, Environment and Public Health, Department of Education, Religion and Culture and others. Meanwhile, Ban Thung Ko is a village with a long history of some extent, which can be found in cultural evidence. Traditions and traditions that are unique to the local area, which are the source of knowledge of the local scholars in various fields, the geography of the village with the creek. Small and large swamps surrounding the village area including the community forest that has been in tandem with the village for a long time which affects the way of life of living into traditions, cultures, beliefs that are practiced from generation to generation and 2) the factors for success towards the development of organic farming community enterprises with a sufficiency way, found that there are all 3 factors as follows: 1) Factors The target community's participation and acceptance consists of: (1) the people involved in the target community (2) the resources contributed by the community (3) the target community participation process (4) the process that makes the target community Accept 2) Processes that make communities change for the better include (1) the process used for change (2) the methods used for change (3) the tools used in the process (4) the information required before it was born. change and 3) knowledge or expertise used to bring about change, consisting of (1) knowledge or expertise of community enterprise members, (2) knowledge or expertise of local communities.
