Abstract

          This research was a qualitative research using a specific selection method consisting of 6 areas: 1) Bueng Burap Sub-district, Bueng Burap District 2) Duan Yai Sub-district, Wang Hin District 3) Phayu Sub-district, Phayu District 4) Yang Chum Noi Sub-district. Yang Chum Noi District, 5) Doon Subdistrict, Kanthararom District, and 6) Kub Subdistrict, Nam Klia District. Data were collected by in-depth interviews and small group discussions from 90 key informant target groups. and presenting a descriptive form The results of the study found that:


  1. preparation for dealing with the situation of aging society Most of the communities in the province Sisaket will use activities to connect the elderly to participate in activities with a model of caring for the elderly from relevant local authorities educate about health Enhancement of professional skills Take care of access to the rights of the elderly such as pension universal health insurance and promoting the establishment of a school for the elderly and the model of caring for the elderly by the community Some communities do not have schools for the elderly, but there are places where the community has managed to create a community learning center for the elderly. The activities include activities that take place from the community. from the village development policy and strategy All activities are aimed at improving the quality of life for the elderly to maintain their ability to care for and be self-reliant.

  2. Creating a community mechanism that facilitates coexistence in an aging society among people of all ages in an agricultural community consisting of 1) building a mechanism by the process of collecting older people's groups. related to the care of the physical, mental, social, intellectual and spiritual health of the elderly; and 2) the mechanisms for caring for the elderly in dependent conditions, helping, referral, and rehabilitation.
