Abstract

          This research was especially aimed at 1) research, especially on welfare for the elderly informal work of Ban Kham Moei community, Dun Sub-District, Kan Talat District, for Sisaket Elderly. and 2) Appropriate guidelines for providing welfare for the elderly for informal workers through participation of Ban Kham Moei Community, Dun Sub-District, Kanthararom District. Sisaket Province. This is a qualitative research collecting data with in-depth interview form from a group of 20 key informants and a small group discussion of 15 people to criticize the appropriate welfare management approach for the elderly, informal workers through community participation. Summarize the data, analyze the results and present a descriptive form. The results found that: 1) Ban Kham Moei is a village that has developed and driven activities related to the elderly. There is a continuous development of activities for the elderly. It's a self-organized community. This is one strategy that all community leaders recognize. Self-reliance development will meet the needs of the people and the elderly in the community indeed. Because it is a development that comes from the participation of people in the community and the beneficiaries are the people. The welfare model for the elderly, informal workers in the community includes welfare from government agencies. relevant local authorities and welfare that comes from the community that has been created together to benefit the elderly in the community.                                              2) Appropriate guidelines for providing welfare for the elderly for informal workers through community participation consist of 1) lifelong education 2) economic, income and savings 3) health 4) social and recreational activities 5 ) access to general social services and access to information services and 6) facilities/housing and environment.
