Abstract

            The powers are ability by which an individual or group influences. The another person to behave and attitudes in direction they want. The power-seekers desire, because of more power, the more rights and privileges than others.  The people seek power to make themselves above others. The ranges from ancient times to present general power occurs in every society. The tribal leader was ancient times, country leaders, local leaders community leader executives, including various organizations. The political authority is able to allocate legitimacy or authority to perform their duties in accordance with the law, also the politicians at the national and local levels. Therefore, political power is a social, political and governmental relationship. In the study of "power" on desirable forms, characteristics of political power, there are many dimensions that need to be understood, studied about the concept and origin of power. The meaning of authority form political power. The rise to power can be classified in four ways: 1) power, 2) power from position, 3) personal power, and 4) political power.
