The Excellence Competency Development of Swimming Athletes of Thailand Swimming Association

Abstract

         This research aimed to study the development of the competitiveness of swimming athletes of Thailand Association and contrastive study of demography the excellence competency development of swimming athletes of Thailand Swimming Association. To study problems. The sample consisted of 130 people. The statistics used in data analysis were Frequency, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation. The statistics used in hypothesis testing were t-test, F- statistic. The research results of this research found that

1. Most of swimmers aged 18 and over are male, 18-25 years old. Income less than 10,000 baht, most competitions are 50 meter freestyle, second 50 meter rowing, 50 meter frog, 50 meter butterfly and 200 meter. As a club level, most medals are awarded for participation in competitions.


2. The results of the analysis of the data on the level of performance development of excellence in the competition of the swimmers, the Swimming Association of Thailand in all 3 aspects overall is at a high performance level. (  =3.72, S.D. 612) When considering each aspect, it was found that The side with the most average The physical performance is at a very competent level. (  =3.76, S.D. 654) Followed by mental performance was at a high performance. (  =3.71, S.D. 633) and the technical and athletic skills of swimming are at a very high performance level.
