Monitoring and evaluation of responses to the development vision of Surat Thani province municipality

Abstract

          This article had the objective to study the responses to development vision

for the fiscal year of 2020. The research is a survey, and the population of interests are those people living in the area, public organizations and staffs within Surat Thani municipality.The tools and technique for data collection are questionnaire and qualitative literature review. The data was analyzed for Mean and Standard Deviation by using Microsoft Excel.

          The evaluation results and response to development vision for fiscal year 2020 found that the Surat Thani municipality aim to be “Friendly town that leads to social happiness.”Feedback and satisfaction survey from citizens regarding the developmental changes of Surat Thani municipality, overall satisfaction was in medium range; satisfaction regarding the responses to each specify issuies such as strategic deployment,  basic structural, economy and tourism, management of natural resources and environment, enrichment of quality of life, education, religion, aesthetic cultures and rituals and the good governance were also in medium range.
