Human Capital Development Approach in Driving The Organization To Success
Abstract
This research aimed to study 1) the general condition of human capital development, 2) the needs for human capital development and 3) To present a guideline of human capital development in driving the organization to success. This research is a qualitative research using in-depth interviews with semi-structured technique. Purposive sampling for 15 key persons from executives and employees of a rice distribution company in Nonthaburi province. And bring the data to Content Analysis
The research findings were as follows: 1) The general condition of human capital development has strengths in company's policy and in focusing on human capital development. Regarding the weaknesses to be develop were to create a positive attitude towards human capital development and human capital development process management. Technological advances and online learning resources that enable everyone to access the information and made the development of human capital easier were the opportunities, while the obstacles were the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and Thailand's economic recession. 2) The demand in human capital development found that the company wanted to develop human capital in the following areas: Business Understanding, Team Collaboration, Self-Learning Development, Expertise, Achievement-Oriented, Systematic Thinking, Problem solving and decision making, and Integrity. 3) The present a guideline of human capital development in driving the organizational to success found that companies should create a positive attitude towards human capital development, establish a human capital development plan in accordance with organizational policy and manage the human capital development process to be more efficient.
