Abstract

         The objective of this article to study the problems and obstacles related China's Infrastructure Investment "China down Policy” in Vietnam. And to study the impact of trade and investment on Thailand. Based on the qualitative research, by research methodology, in-depth interview and focus group discussion were undertaken with key informants, and use the information from the interviews was then analyzed by content analysis. The results of this study found: 1) the problems and obstacles related China's Infrastructure Investment "China down Policy” in Vietnam, such as problems of Vietnam-China relations, problems with infrastructure and infrastructure that are not yet ready, and income distribution problems that remain concentrated. Only in major cities, Vietnam has capital and technology restrictions. And experience from the past has affected the negative attitude of the Vietnamese towards Chinese investors. And 2) The impact of trade and investment on Thailand should try to convince foreign investors to invest in Thailand more, such as due to the infrastructure, technology and expertise. However, Thailand may be disadvantaged in the labor industry. Because the wages of Vietnamese workers are cheap.
