The Effecting Factors on Political Participation in Democracy of the North Eastern Region of Thailand

Abstract

The objective of this research is to 1) analyze the effecting factors on political participation in democracy of the North Eastern region of Thailand. 2) analyze the effecting factors on political efficacy on political participation in democracy of the North Eastern region of Thailand. This research is a quantitative research. The characteristic of the variable of political efficacy, political participation and democracy have been analyzed by the 18 experts in political efficacy and political participation. The variables have been used to construct questionnaire and collected from 370 samples. Using the method of purposive sampling. The analysis statistic are means, standard deviation, correlation coefficient and regression analysis.

The result shows that 1)the means of political efficacy, political participation and democracy present at high level statistically at .05. 2)This research result distributes the effecting factors on political participation are the social media usage such as massage, upload and share. Besides, the massage also impacts on political efficacy and political participation. Together thisimpact, it still influences to the democracy.
