Administration Based on the Good Governance of Local Administrative Organization in Mueang District, Surin Province

Abstract

         The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to study administration based on the good governance of sub-district administration organization in Mueang District, Surin province; 2) to study the problems, obstacles, and recommendations regarding the administration based on the good governance of the Local Administration Organization in Mueang District, Surin Province. By using an integrated research methodology between quantitative research and qualitative research The quantitative research has collected data from people living in Mueang Surin District. Surin Province, 396 people, while the qualitative research by using in-depth interview It is a tool for collecting data of 8 people using specific selection methods. And using content analysis techniques to supplement the context.

1. Overall administration based on the good governance principles of Local Administrative Organizations in Mueang district, Surin province was an average value at a medium level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the highest mean aspects were the principle of value and responsibility; followed by participation and transparency; while the lowest average aspect was the rule of law and the moral principles – they were at a medium level respectively.


2. Problems, obstacles and recommendations regarding the administration based on the good governance of the Sub-district Administration Organization in Mueang district, Surin province as IncIude: Administration aspects of 1) the Sub-district Administration Organization it was found that the Local Administration Organization has supported the movement of community organizations and community committees that were activated and various projects by the community and for the community. 2) In aspect of providing services to people in the Sub-district Administration Organization There are 7 suggestions fot suggestions through suggestions it was found that the officers and stuffs of the Local Administration Organization must be polite in their services. 1) For the rule of law aspect, it was found that the issuance of laws or regulations of the local government organization having a process for conducting public hearings from all parties in the locality, such as civil servants and members of the community. 2) In terms of morality aspect, it was found that officers or staffs of the local government organization have provided services to the people with happiness, politeness and without discrimination. 3) There was a public hearing by meeting every community. In term of the transparency aspect, it was found that the procurement has announced the operators by steps of various projects, and informed the public by public relations. 4) In term of participation aspect it was found that other groups were invited to make decisions and express opinions regarding local development plans. 5) In term of responsibility aspect, it was found that the execution with social responsibility, such as when the community was in trouble, it would be resolved urgently. 6) In term of value aspect, it was found that using limited resources and budgets for maximum benefit and regularly surveying employee satisfaction for works. 7) Administration based on good governance principles aspect; overall, it was found that management in the organization has used of good governance that would make the organization valuable and the people could see the importance in cooperation and unity
