Performance Competency of municipal staff, Nakhon Chai Si Municipality, Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom

Abstract
The purpose of this research is 1) to study the level of performance competency, and 2) to study the factors affecting the performance competency. The research sample was 91 employees in Nakhon Chai Si Municipality. The research instrument was a questionnaire constructed by the researcher. Data were analyzed with percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi-square test. The findings of this research were at follows:
- Overall of performance competency was at a high level. Knowledge and Skill were at a high level. Attribute was at a moderate level.
- The factors that affect performance competency include position and experience. The factors that do not affect performance competency include gender, age, status and income.
