The Health Tourism Model for Phukradueng Itinerary

Abstract

         This research aims to create health tourism model for Phukradueng itinerary and to study the satisfaction of the participants. The research is divided into two stages. The first stage was to create the form of health tourism for Phukradueng itinerary by using participatory action research methodology. It consists of 3 partners including the park party, the community network, and the exercise expert. Group interview was chosen for data collection. The participants was included 5 Phukradueng park officers, 2 nurses from Phukradueng hospital, 2 officers from The Tourism Authority of Thailand, Loei office, Srithan sub district administrative organization delegate, 2 porters, and assistant professor from Physical Education, Loei Rajabhat University , 13 participants in total. 22 males and 14 females of Phukradueng tourists was selected for the depth interviews. The research was found that a pattern of health tourism on Phukradueng itinerary was included a tourist self-assessment, body and mental preparation before traveling , choose the right garbs and purveyances, route and park suggestion study, diet, and learn how to do first aid. The pattern from first stage was used by 40 samples in second stage for satisfaction study. The satisfaction survey was shown 3.74 in average (very satisfied).
