Abstract

         This academic article presented to the marriage rites the Hmong hill tribe at Ban Huay sai Nua, Nokhornthai District, Phisanulok. Aimed to study to process of the marriage rites the Hmong hill tribe at Ban Huay Sai Nua, Nakornthai District, Phisanulok Province. The data collection were formal interview and informal interview from the specialist in the locality and analyzed of data from various sources to gather knowledge. Information analysis by content analysis and provided descriptive data analysis. The study indicated that the Hmong hill tribe at Ban Huay sai Nua, Nokhornthai District, Phisanulok had 3 stages important of marriage ceremony as follows 1. Pre-wedding: the young Hmong hill tribe were seeing each other’s minds. 2. Wedding: the young Hmong hill tribes and relatives arranged wedding ceremony in accordance with the steps that the ancestors had set. 3. Living together: there were the step that the young Hmong hill tribes living together and women gave birth to chill and worked at home and men’s worked hard and helped woman. Therefore, the marriage rites the Hmong hill tribe at Ban Huay Sai Nua was an ancient culture Hmong hill tribe people at Ban Huay Sai Nua still preserves this tradition.
