An Integration of Buddhist Principles for Community Development Management of Community Leaders in Pa Kam District, Buriram Province

Abstract

This research aimed at studying the Buddhist principles in accordance with community development management of community leaders in Pa Kam District, Buriram Province and to compare an integration of Buddhist principles for community leaders in in Pa Kam District, Buriram Province. The research was conducted in 2 phases: 1) quantitative research; it was carried out from 397 samples in Pa Kam District by using multistage sampling method and using a questionnaire as a tool to collect data and 2)  Qualitative research; it was collected data by selecting specific target groups to meet their objectives. The results revealed that the Integration of Buddhist principles for community development management of community leaders in Pa Kam District, Buriram Province was at a moderate level in overall. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspiration was at the highest level followed by effort, thoughtfulness, kindly speech, giving, useful conduct, and investigation respectively, while even and equal treatment was at the lowest level.
