The administration in according with good governance of Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi Province

Abstract

          The main objectives of the research were 1) to study the administration according to good governance of Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi  Province, 2) to compare the Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi  Province staffs’ opinions towards the administration according to good governance of Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi  Province, classified by personal factors, and 3) to present the suggestions for improvement of Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi  Province. Survey research was carried out in this study. The samples of this study were 386 staffs of Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi  Province, being calculated by Sample Selection Table of R.V. Krejie and D.W. Morgan and drawn by simple random sampling technique. The tool for collecting data was questionnaire, with  reliability value = 0.90. The collected data was analyzed by using program for Social Science research. The statistics employed were frequency, percentage, mean, standard derivation, t-test , F-test,One-way ANOVA and Least Significant Difference: LSD  which fix the significance at 0.05 level. The results of the research were concluded as follows:

1. The overall Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi Province staffs’ opinions towards the administration according to the good governance of Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi  Province, were found at high level (  =3.47).  After considering each factor, the research found that the opinions towards the administration according to good governance  were noticed at the high levels in all aspects of good governance.


2. The comparison of the Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi Province staffs’ opinions towards the administration according to good governance of Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi  Province, classified by personal factors.  The study showed that the factors such as  sex, age, education level, income position, status, and working experience were found no significant differences even at 0.05 level, thus rejecting the formulated hypotheses.


3. For the suggestions for improvement of Nongtamlueng Subdistrict Municipality, Phantong District, Chonburi  Province, the findings indicated that some of personnel do not know the law or principles concerning administration in each part of organization. Some personnel are selfish, some support or treat only their staff so the administration will not spread and will not have the efficiency. The administrations do not use the good governance and they are not fair to put the right man on the right job. They do not accept the ideas of their members who have lower position. So the officers, employee, workers or staff require the administrators who are kind, fair, look after them often, separate the work equally, help them to solve some problems, stimulate them to have power in working and support or treat them to have the progress of work.
