The Development of Learning Achievement by Field-Based Teaching Method in Development of Individual and Group Ability Course

Abstract

         The purpose of this research was to develop the learning achievement by using field-based teaching method and studying the student satisfaction on learning in the Development of Individual and Group Ability Course of the 3rd year students. The sample groups using in this research consisted of 89 students of 3rd year students from the Department of Public Administration who enrolled in the Development of Individual and Group Ability Course in the second semester of academic year 2017. All were acquired by specific selection criteria. The research instruments were 1) Learning Management Plan, 2) Learning Achievement Test, and 3) Satisfaction Assessment Form. The statistics used in the research were percentage, mean, standard deviation and test statistics. The research found that:


  1. 1. The efficiency of field-based learning management of the third year students was 83.30/83.52, which is higher than the standard set of 80/80.

  2. 2. Learning Achievement of 3rd Year Students that learning by field-based learning management, the post learning is higher than pre learning at the .01 level of significance.

  3. 3. Students are satisfied with the field-based learning management. The overall score was at a high level ( = 4.42, S.D. = 0.35)
