Abstract

          This article is a part of the research named The Roles of Sangha administrators towards Temple Development as a Community Center in Prasart District, Surin Province. The article focuses on two key points, namely; 1) the application of Brahmavihara 4 principles in the administration, Sangha administrator must have the knowledge, ability, leadership, trust and faith building to the regular monks and 2) the 2 principles of administration, namely; 2.1) the administration of religious people, religious objects, and religious Dhamma, and 2.2) principles of avoiding wrong course of behavior consisting of prejudice caused by love or desire, prejudice caused by hatred or enmity, prejudice caused by delusion or stupidity, and prejudice caused by fear. In Religious education administration, Sangha administrators should support religious education by encouraging activities that make youth and communities study the Dhamma, Regularly preaching the discourses and training moral ethics for youth. In welfare education administration, Sangha administrators should be involved in being a religious teacher, promote educational and mental development for the students to apply the principles of dhamma correctly and appreciate the principles of Buddhism. In Dhamma propaganda administration, Sangha administrators should adjust the strategy to spread the Dhamma through various media, keep up with the times to reach out to the people in the community and provide opportunities for the temple to engage with the community and the school by attending Dhamma schools by bring students to practice in the temple as well as a Dhamma propagation in the Buddhist holy day. In public facilities administration, Sangha administrators should develop a temple in a side of building and environment, place the temple as a source of learning in the arts and culture for later generation children and youth get old art knowledge through fine arts in temples. In public welfare administration, Sangha administrators should There should be sculptures that can convey religious art as a source of learning for youth. And in public assistant administration, Sangha administrators should be sculptures that can convey religious art as a source of learning for youth.
