Workplace Risk Management of Schools under the Office of Special Education Administration in Lopburi Province

Abstract

Risk management is a work in which every workload must assess the risk before every performance, and insert risk countermeasures activities before the commencement of the normal workload of pre-risk surveillance from all workloads together. The objectives of this research were (1) to study the level of risk management in school work. And (2) comparing teachers' opinions on risk management in school work by sex, educational background, and work experience. This study was conducted with schools under the Office of Special Education Administration in Lopburi Province. The population used in this research was 212 teachers. The tool used to collect research data is a questionnaire. The basic statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. And the statistics used to test the hypothesis were t-test and F-test. The results showed that (1) The overall school work risk management was at a high level, ranked from the lowest average as follows: financial risk, strategic risk, operational risk, and Regulatory compliance. (2) There was no difference in overall school work risk management by gender but found that the strategic risk was significantly different at the .05 level. There was no difference in overall and individual educational qualifications, and there was no statistically significant difference in work experience, except for the financial risks found that teachers who Teachers with less than 5 years of experience were different from teachers with 5–10 years of experience and teachers with more than 10 years of experience at statistical significance at the .05 level.
