Student’s Satisfaction of Public Administration Program, Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan Campus

Abstract

Higher education is considered to be significantly crucial for the reinforcement capability of human resource development. Mahamakut Buddhist University then appreciated and established the bachelor of political and administrative program in 2018. Hence, the researcher team intended to study the student’s satisfaction with the political and administrative program, at Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan Campus with the purpose of 1) studying the student’s satisfaction with the program and 2) suggesting the method for the program development. The sample group was students in the field of public administration, the field of public administration, Mahamakut University, the Northeastern campus who had studied from 2018-2020, a total of 60 people. The tools used in this research were Questionnaires. And analyzed with Descriptive Statistics. The result shows that from the overall 5 aspects of student satisfaction of the Public Administration program from the faculty of Public Administration, Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan Campus which includes program satisfaction, environment satisfaction, assessment satisfaction, and learning effectiveness satisfaction, the overall satisfaction from all aspects is at the highest level ( =4.48, S.D.=0.71). However, when considering in detail the lowest aspect of the 5 aspects, it can be seen that environmental satisfaction has the highest level of satisfaction ( =4.39, S.D.= 0.82). This might cause by the Covid-19 pandemic situation effects which deviates the education method from the original. Therefore, Mahamakut Buddhist University should encourage online learning facilities to support the educational environment for the students.
