Supply Chain of Snorkeling Activities in Trang Province

Abstract
This research aimed to study the supply chain’s components of snorkeling activity in Trang Province, which were important for coordination within the supply chain and caused movements in the aspects of information and services flow continually. The methodology used in this study was qualitative research. The key informants consisted of 2 groups including 7 representatives of tourism entrepreneurs in Trang Province and 34 related persons in snorkeling activities. Data was collected using an in-depth and semi-structured interview, after that, the data was analyzed according to SIPOC model (supplier, input, process, output, customer). The study found that the supply chain of snorkeling activities in Trang Province had components in aspect of supplier 10 items, input 5 items, process 9 items, output 5 items, and customer 7 items. It indicated that the overview of management within the supply chain of snorkeling activities was systematic, The processes of supply chain were linked upstream, midstream, and downstream, and this showed characteristics of processes from production of goods and services to delivering them to tourists. Data on the components of supply chain snorkeling activities in Trang Province would be useful for tourism entrepreneurs and stakeholders to utilize it as information to organize snorkeling activities for tourists more efficiently.
