The Development of the Project-Based Learning Activities that Focus on the Idea and Problem-Solving Related to Science Entitled Solar Cell Energy for Grade 10 Students

Abstract
This research aimed to develop the learning activities using the project-based teaching that focus on the idea and problem-solving related to science entitled solar cell energy for grade 10 students with the efficiency criteria of 75/75, and study the effectiveness index of the learning activities plan, and then compare the learning achievement between the group that learned with the project-based teaching and the group that learned with the traditional teaching, as well as study the satisfaction of the grade-10 students toward the project-based teaching that focus on the idea and problem-solving related to science. The sample consisted of 38 Grade-10 students from the Secondary School in Muang Nontaburi District, Nonthaburi Province using purposive sampling. The sample was divided into 2 groups including the group that learned with the project-based teaching that focus on the idea and problem-solving related to science entitled solar cell energy and the group that leaned with the traditional teaching. The research instrument consisted of the project-based learning activities lesson plan, the traditional teaching lesson plan, the idea and problem-solving related to science measuring test with the reliability of 0.72. The research results found that the efficiency level of the learning activities with the project-based teaching that focus on the idea and problem-solving related to science lesson plan was at 80.48/80.26, and the efficiency level of the traditional teaching's lesson plan was at 79.82/79.12 which were higher than the defined criteria. For the study of effectiveness index of the learning activities with the project-based teaching lesson plan found that the effectiveness index of the learning activities with the project-based teaching lesson plan was at 0.773 and the effectiveness index of the traditional teaching lesson plan was at 0.722. The comparison of the students’ learning achievement of the group that learned with the project-based teaching and the students’ who learned with the traditional teaching found that the students’ learning achievement of the group that learned with the project-based teaching was significantly higher than the students’ who learned with the traditional teaching at the .05 level. Moreover the study on the satisfaction of the students found that the satisfaction of the students who learned with the project-based teaching that focus on the idea and problem-solving related to science was at a high level.
