Learning Management of Thai Language Producing of Thai Language Instructional Media using Research Base to Enhance Learning Achievements and Research Skill of B.Ed. Thai Language Students

Abstract

         The objectives of this research were to study academic achievement and research skills of the 4th year (senior) students, who study Thai Language in Majoring Teaching Media production by applying Research-Based Learning. The target group was 4th year students studyingThai language program in the Faculty of Education. Mahasarakham University. They were 63 students, who enrolled the first semester of the 2018’s academic year. This research was consisted of two research cycles whereasthe research instruments for operation were included three categories: 1) learning management to develop academic achievement and research skills of students in the Thai language program by applying 10 plans/20 hours of Research-Based Learning, 2) The tools for reflecting the operating results including observing learning behaviors, learning achievement test with 4 multiple choices of 30 items with showing the discriminant index between 0.29 to 0.66. the B – Index from 0.35-0.70 and the total reliability of 0.86, the research skills assessment form which was 6 scoring rubrics, one set of the result of assessment score was ranked 5 levels, the content validity was equal to 1.00. Data analysis was examined by means, S.D. (standard deviation) and percentage. The results of the research revealed that: 1) Academic achievement as applied in teaching materials in Thai Language Course of 4th year Thai language students by applying research based with the learning achievement of 87.19 2) Research skills of the 4th year students, who studied Thai language teaching media programme by applying research based and the overall research skill at 84.86 percent
