Duties of Author

  1. The submitted article must not have been previously published elsewhere and should not be under consideration for publication in any other journal. If the editorial board discovers such misconduct, or if the author wishes to withdraw the article from publication, the author shall be solely responsible for all expenses incurred by the Journal of Management Sciences, Suratthani Rajabhat University, in processing the manuscript.
  2. If the author utilizes the work of others in their manuscript, proper citation must be provided and included in the reference list at the end of the article.
  3. The author must acknowledge the funding source that supported the research in the acknowledgments section.
  4. All names listed as authors in the article must be individuals who have genuinely contributed to this scholarly work.
  5. The author shall check for plagiarism using reliable software and submit evidence to the editorial board when submitting the article for publication.
  6. The submitted article must conform to the format specified in the journal's manuscript submission guidelines. Otherwise, the editorial board will not consider the manuscript for publication.
  7. The author must possess knowledge and understanding of research article standards and produce quality research work.
  8. The author must agree to comply with the terms and conditions stipulated by the editorial board of the Journal of Management Sciences, Suratthani Rajabhat University.
  9. Research involving human subjects should be accompanied by a certificate of approval from the Human Research Ethics Committee.

 

Duties of Editors

  1. The editor has the responsibility to evaluate the format, completeness, and quality of articles prior to initiating the peer review process.
  2. The editor shall not disclose any information during the article evaluation and publication period to unrelated parties, whether such information pertains to the authors or reviewers.
  3. The editor must not modify or alter the content of articles or the reviewers' assessment results.
  4. The editor must strictly adhere to the journal's established processes and procedures.
  5. The editor serves as the preliminary evaluator in determining the selection of articles for the publication process and makes final decisions on publishing articles that have completed the review process. Such decisions are based on the reviewers' assessments, taking into consideration the significance, originality, clarity, and alignment of the content with the journal's policies.
  6. The editor shall not publish articles that have been previously published elsewhere, whether in journal format or as conference proceedings.
  7. The editor shall not reject articles for non-compliance with requirements until sufficient evidence substantiating such concerns has been established.
  8. The editor shall not have any conflicts of interest with authors, reviewers, or the editorial board.
  9. The editor shall examine manuscripts for plagiarism using reliable software. If clear evidence of plagiarism is found, the editor will contact the corresponding author to request an explanation. In the absence of a satisfactory academic justification, the editor will reject the article for publication.
  10. If plagiarism is detected during the review process, the editor shall immediately suspend the evaluation process and contact the corresponding author to request an explanation before making a decision to "accept" or "reject" the article for publication.
  11. For articles that do not pass the review process, the editor will notify the author in writing without returning the manuscript or fees. The editorial board's decision is final, and the author has no right to appeal or make any claims.
  12. The editor must maintain the journal's standards and continuously enhance the journal's quality to reflect current knowledge and remain consistently up-to-date.

 

Duties of Reviewers

  1. Reviewers must adhere to the designated evaluation timeline and shall not disclose any information regarding the article or authors to unrelated parties throughout the duration of the review process.
  2. Reviewers must not have any conflicts of interest with the authors, such as being co-authors, which would compromise the reviewer's ability to conduct an independent evaluation and provide impartial recommendations.
  3. Reviewers must possess appropriate knowledge, competence, and expertise relevant to the article's content. Articles shall be evaluated based on their significance, originality, clarity, and coherence of content, without employing unsupported personal opinions as criteria for assessment.
  4. Reviewers may recommend significant and relevant research works that the author has not cited as part of their evaluation feedback.
  5. If reviewers discover that the article contains similarities or redundancies with the work of others, supported by clear evidence, the reviewer may recommend rejection of the publication and notify the editor accordingly.
