Abstract

Tourism of Songkhla Lagoon is not widespread today due to the lack of tourists’ awareness, providing tourism information, and attraction navigation. Therefore, the objectives of this study aimed to: 1) develop the "Mata-Lumnam" application supporting logistical tourism in the Songkhla Lagoon. This application provides the tourism information services for tourists, and; 2) evaluate the user satisfaction from sample group. The sample size was 101 people using convenience sampling technique. The online questionnaire was the research instrument for data collection. The “Mata Lumnam” application was developed based on the logistical tourism for tourists. It was composed of three logistical components: 1) physical flow; 2) financial flow and; 3) information flow. In evaluation, the results showed that users had satisfaction at the good level in using the application and application design. The limitation of this study was the evaluation in the situation of COVID-19 so that this study could not evaluate in the trial group traveling along the recommended tourist route with this logistical tourism application. If the effects of COVID-19 in the future will reduce, the satisfaction in trial group travelling can be evaluated. The “Mata-lumnam” application of this study was different from the other tourism applications because this mobile application was designed and developed based on three components of logistical tourism management. The developers and researchers could apply the research results and designed features to their developments or studies.
