The Logistics Efficiency Of Road Carrier Affecting The Satisfaction Of Fruit Exporters in Thailand

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to study 1) characteristics of exporters in Thailand that affect the satisfaction of fruit exporters toward the carrier services, 2) characteristics of fruit exporters in Thailand that affect the logistics efficiency of the carrier services, and 3) the logistics efficiency of the carrier services affecting the satisfaction of fruit exporters. This research is Mixed Method research. The qualitative research used the interview as a tool to collect data from road carriers. The interviews with key informants were selected using a purposive sample of 5 people. The questionnaire was a tool for collecting quantitative data from 240 fruit exporters in the central region selected by convenience sampling.Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA), and F-test: ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) were analyzed data in the study.

          The findings showed that 1) The different characteristics of exporters in Thailand have no effect on the satisfaction of fruit exporters toward road carriers, 2) The different characteristics of exporters in Thailand have no effect on the logistics efficiency of road carriers. The characteristics of exporters are Number of trips of shipment per month; Product export value per year; Size of the company; Business Model, and the duration of the organization's business operations, 3) Logistic efficiency of carrier services that affect the satisfaction of exporters in Thailand the most are Efficiency of logistic services, Efficiency of accessing to the services, and Efficiency of Information Technology.
