Career Choice Anxiety among Undergraduate Students in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry Program

Abstract
This research aims 1) to study the level of career choice anxiety among undergraduate students in the tourism and hospitality industry programs and 2) to compare the level of career choice anxiety with undergraduate students' personal biosocial factors. Questionnaires were used to collect the data from 1,301 undergraduate students in tourism and hospitality industry programs. The researchers used multistage sampling and analyzed the data collected by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent sample t-test, and one-way analysis of variance. The research results are as follows: 1) the level of career choice anxiety among undergraduate students in the tourism and hospitality industry program were at a moderate level ( = 3.32, SD = 0.787), and 2) there were significant differences within the career choice anxiety levels of the undergraduate students in tourism and hospitality industry programs in terms of their different biosocial factors (p < 0.01, 0.05).
